In order to create this website, myself and others from AHRC community partnered with Web Design students from Pace University.
Besides working on the websites, my partner and I got to learn a lot from each other

My student partner and I come from different backgrounds:
Neither of us knew about the customs and cultural traditions of each other's cultures before we started working on the project

My student partner and I collaborated on creating this website, which helped me learn about the process and how to upload photos.
During this project, I shared with my partner my communication skills because I love to meet new people, tell stories and be myself.

We taught each other about the differences in our experiences.
Coming from different backgrounds and different communities we experience daily life differently, and through this project, we were able to become aware of different perspectives
